Does anyone ever know what to say in these?  I don’t.  If I drug you here, or you found it on your own, you still made it here, and for that, I thank you.  I’m an amateur, and one day professional (hopefully), author.  I like to write short stories and novels that I can relate to in some way and that I would like to read. I love any and all types of music, except opera, and I love to make my own.  I play guitar, bass and the drums (a little).

I’m a voracious and prolific reader.  Some of my favorites:  Chuck Palahniuk, Scott Lynch, Patrick Rothfuss,  George RR Martin and JK Rowling.  Yes, I do have a Potter obsession and while it has lessened considerably from what it once was, I have my Dark Mark tattoo to show my eternal love and gratitude to the series.

A few things about me.  I’m a sarcastic asshole, or so I’m told.  I’m too competitive.  I’m opinionated.  I’m too blunt (sometimes). I admire people most when they can be true to themselves and are proud of that fact.  I have only truly hated one thing in my life – The New York Yankees, but I do have a high amount of disdain for stupidity.  Ignorance can be fixed but stupidity, sadly, cannot.

I’m a moral liberal but a fiscal conservative.  I think after reading a blog or two, you will see where I stand on some of the hotter political issues.  I cannot stand complete close mindedness.  I cannot stand bigotry, discrimination and hatefulness.  I am very atheist but I like to learn about and discuss religion academically.
